We are now offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Production Assistant Intern to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience in fragrance manufacturing and creative product development.
The Role
As a Production Assistant Intern, you will work closely with our lab team to support day-to-day production tasks, including blending, bottling, packaging, and quality control. This role is ideal for students or graduates in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related creative fields who are eager to learn about perfume formulation and small-scale manufacturing in a real business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in perfume blending, dilution, and bottling processes
Support preparation and labelling of fragrance samples and products
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lab workspace
Monitor stock levels for ingredients, bottles, and packaging
Help with order fulfilment and inventory tracking
Support production for market and wholesale orders
Assist in testing new formulations under supervision
Follow safety and hygiene procedures at all times
Skills & Attributes
Studying or recently graduated in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or TAFE (Certificate /Diploma of Laboratory Technology related fields
Strong attention to detail and interest in fragrance or cosmetics
Reliable, organised, and proactive with hands-on work
Basic understanding of lab safety and measurement techniques
Good communication skills and ability to work in a small team
Passionate about creative industries and product design
